About
Bethany Pearce
Bethany Pearce graduated with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in May 2023. Her area of study in graduate school focused on the need for ADHD support and advocacy. Since then, she has worked effectively with both adolescents and adults who wish to alleviate some of the challenging aspects that come with an ADHD diagnosis. While working in the counseling setting with these individuals, Bethany saw a gap that she felt could not be bridged in a therapy room. She saw a need for a hands on and direct approach to addressing executive dysfunction that often leads to troubles at school, home, in relationships, with food, self-worth, and so on. After receiving a late stage ADHD diagnosis at the age of 28, Bethany delved even deeper into the ADHD world to learn how to effectively manage her own executive dysfunction so she could continue to thrive in a world that was not made for the neurodiverse. Between her clinical passion and her personal experience, her ADHD Life Coaching project was born. Bethany hopes to come alongside her clients who struggle with ADHD challenges and to equip them with the skills and resources needed to make sustainable life changes. Bethany believes that with the right tools and support, everyone can meet their fullest potential.

ADHD Facts
-
Women often go undiagnosed or receive late diagnosis for ADHD due to internalized symptoms, lingering stereotypes, gender role expectations, and/or hormonal impacts. Misdiagnosis, or lack of diagnosis, can result in increased anxiety and depression, isolation, and distress. Treatment can help normalize the ADHD experience and provide relief from symptoms.
-
Teens with an ADHD diagnosis are impacted in many ways. ADHD may impact their academic performance, social functioning, home-life, and much more. Teens with an ADHD diagnosis are at increased risk of engaging in risky sexual behavior and substance use due to impulsivity. Getting the right skills and tools on board can set your teen up for success.
-
According to the CDC, more than half of adults with ADHD were diagnosed in adult-hood. Late diagnosis can come with an array of emotions. On one hand, there may be great relief now that you have more understanding, and on the other hand, you may experience grief over lost opportunities due to your unaddressed ADHD symptoms.
